Born August 4, 1952. Ordained into the priesthood on June 8, 1979. Entered Eternal Life after a brief illness on July 27, 2012. Brother of Charles (Deborah), Richard, Andrew (Sue) and Helen Dammeir. He is further survived by four nieces and nephews, fellow priest and other good friends. Fr. Dammeir spent many years doing mission work throughout the world. He very much enjoyed traveling and his ministry as a Catholic Priest. His last assignment was Pastor of Prince of Peace Parish. Prior to that he was Pastor of All Saints Catholic Church and Our Lady of Lourdes Congregation. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1126 S. 25th St, Milwaukee, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery in Lake Geneva.
