Reverend Anthony H. Dorn - Age 66. Passed away Wednesday, November 7, 1990 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born in Milwaukee June 23, 1924, to the late Walter and Lydia (nee Dickeral) Dorn. He earned a Bachelor's degree from St. Francis Seminary, a Master's degree from the Marquette University, and a Doctorate degree from the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. He served as a professor at the Catholic University and St. Francis Seminary. In 1949, he was ordained into the priesthood and served at Holy Ghost Catholic Chrurch, Milwaukee. Later, he served as principal at Waukesha Memorial High School. In 1970, Father Dorn came to Racine and served as Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Parish for the past twenty years. He was also very active with Adult Education. Surviving are 3 sisters, Agnes (Joseph) Gamma, Patricia (Doll) Selkie, and Sr. Rosaleen Dorn, Sister of Mercy; 2 brothers, Theodore Dorn and Thomas (Barbara) Dorn; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends,and his Parish Family of St. Mary's. Visitation followed by funeral services will be held FRIDAY, TONIGHT at St. Mary's Catholic CHurch, 7605 Lakeshore Dr. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 4:00 pm until 7:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Most Reverend Rembert G. Weakland, O.S.B. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
