North Ogden Pass Trail

On a bit of a whim, I drove on up to the North Ogden Pass and took a hike South on the Skyline Trail and the North Ogden Divide. The first 1/2 mile took an hour with a climb of some 1100 feet. Apparently, I wasn't the only one to suffer on that initial climb. The top was a spectacular hike that walked the backbone of the Wasatch Mountains. On the eastside was the Ogden Valley, and on the westside was Ogden and the Great Salt Lake. Constrained by time, I could only go so far. Maybe some other day I will get to hike all the way to Lewis Peak, which overlooks Ogden proper.
